Ben Xiang
Chief Technology and Strategy Officer
Ben Xiang serves as Chief Technology and Strategy Officer at Sunwest Bank, where he leads the company’s technology vision and strategic initiatives. He brings nearly two decades of experience at the intersection of enterprise technology, innovation, and corporate strategy.
Before joining Sunwest, Ben was Senior Vice President of Enterprise AI and Corporate Development and Strategy at Veritone, an enterprise AI company, where he oversaw AI solutions, product and engineering, and led corporate development initiatives. He also held global executive positions at Ingram Micro, guiding the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Mixed-Reality businesses, as well as roles in strategy and corporate development.
Ben is deeply familiar with Sunwest, having served as interim CIO in 2019 and as a member of the Board of Directors since 2015. His background includes extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, post-merger integration, and business operations, all of which support his leadership in advancing Sunwest’s modernization and innovation programs.
He holds a degree in Finance and Management from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
